1. Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold an MPhil or an equivalent postgraduate qualification representing at least 18 years of formal education.
The degree must be awarded by a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university or an equivalently accredited international institution.
The qualification must be in a health & clinical science or biomedical discipline directly relevant to the university’s research goals.
Preference: Candidates holding a PhD in a relevant discipline are highly encouraged to apply and will be given preference during the selection process.
2. Publication Requirements
Candidates must have at least two (2) peer-reviewed research publications in journals listed under HEC-recognised journal categories (W/X).
Co-authorship is acceptable, provided the applicant is among the first three authors or serves as the corresponding author.
Bonus Weightage: Applicants with publications in W category journals, or those serving as the first/corresponding author, will receive additional weightage during evaluation.
3. Additional Requirements
Research Methods: Proven familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Statistical Competency: A solid working knowledge of at least one statistical software package—such as SPSS, STATA, or R—is expected. Candidates must be fully capable of conducting basic data analysis and interpreting output independently.
English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills are required to prepare research reports, academic correspondence, and manuscript drafts. Competency will be directly assessed during the interview (no minimum standardized test score is required).
