ANF Sindh is recruiting for two distinct specialized legal roles with highly competitive retainer ship packages:
1. Special Public Prosecutor / Legal Consultant (Drug Cases)

Monthly Retainer Ship: Rs. 150,000/-
Core Responsibilities: The selected advocate will appear and conduct legal proceedings under the provisions of CNSA 1977, Prevention of Smuggling Act 1977, Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010, or any other active law. Duties involve representing ANF before Special Courts (CNS), Anti-Smuggling courts, Appellate Tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of Pakistan (on a requirement basis in the over all Karachi region), alongside rendering expert legal opinions to the department.
2. Special Public Prosecutor (Assets / AMLA 2010 Cases)

Monthly Retainer Ship: Rs. 125,000/-
Core Responsibilities: Specialized focus on conducting legal proceedings under the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010, CNSA 1977 (assets and financial cases), and the Prevention of Smuggling Act 1977. The advocate will represent ANF in Trial Courts, Special Courts, and Tribunals, and provide legal guidance on asset forfeiture and financial investigation files.
Crucial Legal Conflict Rule:
Selected prosecutors shall render expert legal opinions to the department and strictly shall not appear as defense Counsel against ANF in any case, appeal, or application during their tenure.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Interested advocates must fulfill the following regulatory benchmarks laid down by the directorate:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of Pakistan.
Bar Enrollment: Must be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court with a valid license.
Experience Preference: Special preference will be given to advocates holding at least 5 years of active practice experience in the High Court.
Specialized Knowledge: Candidates must possess working legal knowledge regarding all types of drugs, narcotics, NPS, and controlled/illicit substances (including UN conventions / ANF Schedules). Prior experience dealing with the CNS Act 1977, AMLA 2010, and PSA 1977 is highly preferred.
Targeted Preferences:
For Drug Cases, special preference will go to retired judges or individuals who have previously served as Special Public Prosecutors or Law Officers in Law Enforcement Agencies.
For Assets/AMLA cases, preference will be given to candidates who have handled assets, financial investigations, and anti-money laundering law.
Preference will also be given to candidates who maintain a permanent residence and office in Karachi.
Ineligibility Restrictions:
Advocates who previously worked with the department but had their contracts terminated or resigned during such a period are not eligible to apply.
The candidate must neither have been found guilty of professional misconduct, convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude, dismissed from Government Service, nor declared insolvent.
