2. DAE Qualified Direct Entry Sailor (IT Branch)
These highly specialized cadres are for applicants holding a Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or relevant higher certifications:
ITT-I
Qualifications: Matric Science with 65% marks AND DAE (CIT / Computer Application / Computer Science / Software Engineering) with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit: 18 to 22 Years (as of Jan 1, 2027)
Height & Status: 5 ft 4 in; Married or Unmarried.
LITT (Direct Entry Sailor – IT Branch)
Qualifications: Matric Science with 65% marks, DAE (in relevant computer/IT field with 50% marks) AND 5 years of relevant field experience.
Age Limit: 22 to 27 Years (as of Jan 1, 2027)
Height & Status: 5 ft 4 in; Married or Unmarried.
ITA-IV
Qualifications: Matric Science with 65% marks, DAE (relevant IT field with 50% marks) along with at least 10 years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS (BS-CS/IT, BCS, BIT) with minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA.
Age Limit: 27 to 32 Years (as of Jan 1, 2027)
