Based in Karachi, this is a high-level role responsible for heading the entire Internal Audit function of an ISO-certified organization.
Position Overview: General Manager Internal Audit
The GM Internal Audit reports directly to the Board Audit Committee and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial, operational, and IT processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning: Prepare and monitor a comprehensive annual Audit Plan aligned with organizational strategies and risk profiles.
Risk Management: Assess the efficacy of internal controls over key risks and identify significant exposures.
Financial & Operational Scrutiny: Examine records to ensure the quality of operations and compliance with applicable laws and Board policies.
IT & Business Processes: Provide unbiased assessments of the completeness and efficiency of the company's digital and physical workflows.
Fraud Investigation: Investigate and report on potential cases of fraud, waste, or abuse, and recommend strengthening systems.
Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with the Code of Corporate Governance and international standards on auditing.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and sound judgment.
Proven ability to manage time and heavy workloads, including prioritizing multiple audit assignments.
Experience working directly with Senior Management and the Board Audit Committee (BAC).
Strong grasp of financial analysis and ability to manage IT-based audit systems.
