Required Qualification
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- Master’s degree or above
- Degree must be obtained from an HEC-recognized university
- Candidates may be:
- Serving or retired bureaucrats
- Academia professionals
- Armed Forces officers
Experience Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior management position
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Training and development
- Management
- Human Resource Development (HRD)
- Educational institutions
Required Competencies and Skills
The selected candidate must demonstrate:
- Strong strategic vision for training and educational policy development
- Ability to manage multiple training institutes and schools across Pakistan
- Expertise in implementing modern training programs, curricula, and evaluation systems
- Experience in faculty development, budgeting, and administrative management
- Knowledge of quality assurance, accreditation standards, and performance monitoring
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for institutional development
Tenure of Appointment
- Initial contract period of 3 years
- Appointment will be on a lump-sum basis
- 6 months probation period
- Extension subject to satisfactory performance and organizational requirements
- No guarantee of regularization at any stage
Pay Package
For Serving Employees
- Last pay drawn
- Plus perks and privileges of BPS-20 as per WAPDA rules
For Retired Employees
- Lump-sum salary of Rs. 675,000 per month
- Official WAPDA vehicle provided
