(WAPDA) Jobs 2026 Water and Power Development Authority Apply Now The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), a key organization in Pakistan's “Decade of Dams” initiative, is seeking the services of a highly qualified and experienced professional for the position of Legal Advisor in the Land Acquisition and Resettlement (LA&R) Section of the Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project (MDHP).
This is a critical, single-post recruitment on a contract basis located at the Mohmand Dam Project site in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), offering a competitive, fixed monthly compensation package.

Tenure and Pay Package
Tenure: The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of one year with a six-month probation period. The contract is extendable based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
Pay Package: A Lump Sum Pay Package of Rs. 300,000/- per month is offered.
Mandate / Charter of Duties (Key Responsibilities)
The Legal Advisor will be responsible for land acquisition and all associated legal matters for the project:
Coordinate with the Land Acquisition Collector (LAC) for timely land acquisition.
Deal with land acquisition and compensation issues/cases.
Represent WAPDA/Project authorities in various court/legal forums.
Prepare legal papers (Section-4 proceedings, etc.) with recommendations.
Advise Project authority on all legal issues as required.
