These positions are for a fixed-term contractual basis under the project titled “Expansion of Safe City, Islamabad,” and are non-transferable. The recruitment drive for 2026 focuses on specialized executive and technical roles from PPS-07 to PPS-09, requiring a minimum of 16 years of HEC-verified education in relevant engineering, IT, and science fields.
Safe City Islamabad: Executive and Technical Vacancies 2026
The Deputy Project Director (PPS-09) position requires a minimum of 16 years of HEC-verified education in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with 10+ years of experience in large-scale ICT/Safe City/Command & Control projects. Certifications like PMP/Prince2/ITIL are preferred.
The Deputy Executive Officer (Data Center) (PPS-08) must have a background in Computer Science or IT and possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations, virtualization, multi-vendor OS deployments, and be proficient in L2/L3 enterprise networks (Huawei, Fortinet, Cisco preferred).
The Deputy Executive Officer (Software) (PPS-08) requires 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development, QA, system integration, and deploying solutions for surveillance/command centers. Certifications in Agile/Scrum/DevOps are a plus.
The Deputy Executive Officer (HVAC) (PPS-08) requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience managing HVAC systems for mission-critical facilities, with specialized training in precision cooling preferred.
The Deputy Executive Officer (NOC/SOC) (PPS-08) is needed for 5+ years of experience in NOC/SOC operations, monitoring SIEM/NMS dashboards, and performing in-depth security incident investigation.
The Deputy Executive Officer (Telecommunication) (PPS-08) requires 5+ years of experience in radio/communication networks, preferably digital trunking systems, and knowledge of LTE/4G networks.
Other essential roles include the Assistant Executive Officer (IPNV) (PPS-07) specializing in VMS, CCTV configuration, and video analytics, and the Assistant Executive Officer (Traffic/ITS) (PPS-07) with experience in AI/Machine Learning and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) deployment.
