Government of Sindh: Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) Vacancy Announcement

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, is inviting applications from eligible candidates holding a domicile of the Province of Sindh. Applications are sought for one vacant position, to be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the advertisement’s publication.

The application and selection process are contingent upon clearing the mandatory screening test conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS).

Mandatory Requirements and Application Procedure

All applicants must adhere to the following crucial requirements to be considered for this government position:

1. Mandatory Testing Requirement

• Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation/Intermediate Category with at least 40% Marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess the certificate issued by STS. This is a mandatory prerequisite.

2. Application Submission

• The post is uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal (SJP). Applicants must apply for the above post uploaded on the SJP at: https://sjp.gos.pk

3. Application Deadline

• The application must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement.

4. Age Relaxation and Quota

• The upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided under the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.

• Disabled Person’s Quota: The post will be filled according to the reserved quota for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), as per the policy of the Government of Sindh.

5. Government Servants

• Those already in Government Service should get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent Department and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of the interview.

6. Interview & TA/DA

• The applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with all original documents for the interview.

• No TA & DA will be admissible for the interview.
