Applications are invited for the role of Female Livestock FFS Facilitator to work in the field of Farmer Field Schools and Climate Smart Initiatives in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh.

Position Details and Core Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities (Key Highlights)

The main purpose of this field-based role is to facilitate Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and Climate Smart Livestock (CSL) sites, with a particular focus on empowering women farmers.

• Establishment & Operation: Facilitate the establishment and operation of Farmer Field Schools (FFS) and Climate Smart Livestock (CSL) sites.

• Capacity Building: Facilitate and participate in capacity-building events/trainings, including the Training of Farmer Facilitators (ToFF).

• Field Interventions: Conduct regular field visits, provide guidance on appropriate crop management and area-specific livestock interventions, and facilitate the running of FFS/LFFS/CSA/CSL practices.

• Project Activities: Responsible for social mobilization, field assessments, identifying and organizing beneficiaries, input distribution, and promoting CSA & CSL in targeted villages.

• Monitoring & Data: Regularly enter data for FFS Facilitators and learners into the Kobo database to support the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Team.

• Documentation: Identify and develop case studies and success stories for periodic reports.
