Ministry of Railways Announces Job Opportunities for IT Professionals to Transform Pakistan Railways

Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of professional experience in program management. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the program/project management field.

2. Deputy Director I.T (Software Systems) (MP-III Scale)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of professional experience. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the IT field.
Age Limit: Max 62 years.
3. Deputy Director I.T (Infrastructure) (MP-III Scale)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of professional experience. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit: Max 62 years.
4. Software Developer (UI/UX Designer) (MP-III Scale)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of experience in UI/UX designing, software development & programming. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the software development and programming field.
Age Limit: Max 62 years.
5. Software Developer (Mobile Application Development) (MP-III Scale)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of experience in software development & hands-on programming. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the software development and programming field.
Age Limit: Max 62 years.
6. Software Developer (Web Application Development) (MP-III Scale)
No. of Posts: 02
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant IT field with 03 years of experience in software development & hands-on programming. OR
Master’s in a relevant IT field with 05 years of experience in the software development and programming field.
Age Limit: Max 62 years.
Relevant Fields for Ph.D. and Master’s include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Sciences, or Information Technology.

Important Terms and Conditions
Contract Appointment: The appointments will be on a contract basis, initially for a period of three (03) years. The contract is further extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual (yearly) basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
Pay Scale: Recruitment will be made as per the updated MP Scales Policy, 2020.
