Indus Resource Centr (IRC) Announces Numerous Teaching and School Staff Vacancies in Sindh
The Indus Resource Centre (IRC), an NGO working in collaboration with the PPP Node-SELD Government of Sindh, has announced a major recruitment drive for its “EMO Project-7 JICA Assisted Girls Elementary Schools.” Applications are invited from energetic, motivated, and qualified candidates for various teaching, administrative, and support staff positions.
The vacancies are spread across government girls’ elementary schools in four districts: Larkana (02), Khairpur (02), Sukkur (02), and Ghotki (01). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and community development to contribute to improving girls’ education in the province. Teaching and Academic Positions (Female Candidates Only)
The IRC is seeking to fill several key teaching and coordination roles. All academic positions are open exclusively to female candidates.
1. School Coordinator
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in school coordination or education-related projects is required.
2. Mathematics Teacher (Elementary School)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred.
3. Science Teacher (Elementary School)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a relevant field. Must have a strong understanding of elementary science concepts and effective teaching methods.
Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred.
4. English Teacher (Elementary School)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience teaching English to elementary students is preferred.
5. General Teacher
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Prior teaching experience at the school level is an advantage.
6. ECE Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a relevant field (Diploma in ECE is preferred).
Administrative and Support Staff Positions
The following administrative and support roles are available for both male and female candidates as specified:
1. School Admin & MIS Assistant (Female)
Qualification: Minimum Graduate degree, preferably in IT, Education, or Business Administration. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry.
Experience: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Prior experience in school administration or MIS is preferred.
2. Watchman (Male)
Qualification: Basic literacy (ability to read, write, or speak the local language) is preferred. A valid license for any entry pass is desirable.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role with a good track record. Must have the ability to work in shifts, including nights.
3. School Sweeper (Male/Female)
Qualification: Not mandatory; basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness practices.
Experience: Prior cleaning experience, preferably in a school or office setting.
4. School Support Staff / Peon (Female)
Qualification: Minimum primary education; basic literacy is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in school or domestic work is preferred.
5. School Gardener (Male)
Qualification: Basic literacy is preferred.
Experience: Previous gardening experience is an advantage. Must have knowledge of plants, gardening tools, and techniques.
Locations and Vacancies
Positions are available at various Government Girls Elementary Schools (GGES) across the four districts. Specific school locations are mentioned in the advertisement for each post, including schools like GGES Belo Naich (Ghotki), GGES Haji Sharif (Sukkur), GGES Faqir Muhammad Palah (Sukkur), GGES Karim Bux Bhambro (Khairpur), GGES Hadi Bux Laghari (Khairpur), GGES New Goad (Larkana), and GGES Thareecha (Larkana).
