Board of Investment (BOI) Announces Job Openings for SMART Project
The Board of Investment (BOI), Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications from talented and motivated professionals for its “Sector Mapping & Regulatory Transformation (SMART)” project. These Islamabad-based positions offer an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on national economic growth.
The BOI is seeking to fill several roles on a contract basis, with details on remuneration, qualifications, and experience outlined below.
Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria
1. Deputy Director Admin (PPS-08)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 243,750/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Required Qualification: Graduate degree from an HEC recognized university.
Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in public sector administration/secretariat matters, including procurement and other official tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is essential.
2. Accounts Officer (PPS-07)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 157,500/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Required Qualification: Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in dealing with Audit & Accounts matters in a public/private sector organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adequate knowledge of public sector working rules are required.
3. Regulatory Modernization Specialist (PPS-07)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 157,500/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Required Qualification: MBA/Masters in Economics, Management Sciences, or equivalent.
Required Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with smart regulations, Ease of Doing Business, or equivalent. Key skills include the ability to work independently, a strong understanding of investment and export-import trends, and excellent communication abilities.
4. Business Analyst (PPS-07)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 157,500/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: BSCS/ BS IT / Master’s in Project Management, Economics, or Management Information Systems (16 years education).
Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field, including software projects and quality assurance. Experience in requirements gathering, web technology, and SQL queries is also necessary.
5. Public Sector Specialist (PPS-07)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 157,500/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: MBA/ Masters in Economics, Management Sciences, or equivalent.
Required Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, an understanding of investment and trade policies in Pakistan, and strong analytical and communication skills.
6. Sector Associate (PPS-06)
No. of Posts: 05
Pay: PKR 105,000/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: MBA/ Masters in Economics, Management Sciences, MS Project Management, MS Engineering, or equivalent.
Required Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant field is required. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and possess strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
7. Assistant (PPS-05)
No. of Posts: 01
Pay: PKR 70,000/- per month (Lump Sum Pay Package)
Age Limit: Up to 25 years
Required Qualification: Graduate.
Required Experience: Working experience in the public or private sector will be given preference.
