The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced numerous job opportunities in its latest advertisement published in the Daily Express newspaper on July 30, 2025. The authority is seeking dedicated and experienced individuals for various Deputy Director and Assistant Director positions.
Available Positions
PECTAA has opened applications for a total of 42 positions across different departments.
Deputy Director Roles
A total of 21 Deputy Director positions are available, each with a lumpsum salary of Rs. 475,000 per month and an age limit of 28 to 45 years. The specific qualifications vary by position:
Admin & HR (1 Post): Master’s/BS in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
Estate & Logistics (1 Post): Master’s/BS in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
Legal (1 Post): LLB, LLM, or equivalent qualification. Candidates must be licensed advocates.
Finance (2 Posts): Master’s/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance), or related fields like CA, ACCA, CPA.
Sports & Co-curricular (9 Posts): Eight posts are at the divisional level and one at the headquarters. A Master’s/BS degree in Health & Physical Education or Sports is required.
Other Deputy Director positions (1 post each): Authority Business, Inventory Control, Budget & Planning, Assessment & Examination, Training, Training Planning & Outreach, Certification & Accreditation, Outreach, Research & Development, School Environment, Teaching & Learning, School Staffing Observation, School Council, Monitoring & Evaluation, Staff, Media Management & Communication, and STEAM. Each requires a Master’s/BS (16 years of education) in a relevant field.
Assistant Director Roles
There are 21 vacancies for Assistant Directors, with a lumpsum salary of Rs. 300,000 per month and an age limit of 23 to 35 years. A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience is mandatory for all Assistant Director positions.
Market Control (3 Posts): Requires a Master’s/BS in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
STEAM (9 Posts): Eight posts are available at the divisional level. A Master’s/BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Education, or a STEAM-related field is necessary.
Other Assistant Director positions (1 post each): Staff, Establishment, General, Estate & Logistics, Authority Business, Outreach, Research & Development, School Observation, School Council, Procurement, Inventory Control, Publication, Budget, Assessment & Examination, School Environment, Teaching & Learning, Training, Training Planning & Outreach, and Certification & Accreditation. Each requires a Master’s/BS (16 years of education) in the relevant discipline.
