Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Professor Information Technology or Computer Science
- Educational Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university or institution
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching or research experience in an HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution
- OR
- Minimum 10 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience
- Publications Requirement: At least 15 research publications in HEC recognized journals, with at least 5 published within the last 5 years
Associate Professor Computer Science
- Educational Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching or research experience
- OR
- Minimum 5 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience
- Publications Requirement: At least 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals, with at least 4 published in the last 5 years
Assistant Professor English
- Educational Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university
- Publications: Preference will be given to those with publications in highly reputed journals in at least Y category

- Submit attested photocopies of all relevant educational and experience documents
- Submit a Demand Draft or Pay Order of Rupees 4000 as a non-refundable processing fee in favor of University of Mirpurkhas

Special Instructions for Applicants
- Candidates applying for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor must submit four copies of their CVs and research publications in hardbound format
- Applications must clearly mention the post applied for on the envelope
- Candidates already employed in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate NOC
- Applicants must not have third division in their academic career
- Maximum age limits are as follows:
- Professor: 50 years
- Associate Professor: 45 years
- Assistant Professor: 40 years
- Age relaxation is allowed in exceptional cases according to Sindh Government rules
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications and separate bank drafts
- Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalence certificate issued by HEC Pakistan

- These positions are being offered on a two-year contract, which is extendable based on performance and institutional need
- These jobs fall under the Government of Sindh’s Defined Contributory Pension Scheme or Policy
- The University reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised positions without assigning any reason
