Available Positions & Key Requirements in oil and gas
OGDCL’s vacancies cater to diverse expertise, emphasizing both academic qualifications and hands-on experience. Key roles include:
Deputy Chief Driller (EG-V)
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (HEC-recognized, PEC-registered) OR F.Sc/DAE with 3 years’ technical education.
Experience: 10–15 years in drilling, including 5–10 years in supervisory roles.
Deputy Chief CSR Officer (EG-V)
Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s in Business/Public Administration, Sociology, Law, or related fields.
Experience: 10 years in CSR or community development.
Security Leadership Roles
Deputy Chief/Senior Security Officer (EG-V): Candidates must have served as Colonel/Lt. Colonel (or equivalent in Navy/Air Force) or Major, respectively, with preference for officers trained in intelligence or security operations.
Senior Driller (EG-V)
Education: Similar to Deputy Chief Driller but with 7–12 years of experience, including 3–5 years as Driller/Senior Driller.
Senior Boiler Engineer (EG-V)
Certification: 1st Class Boiler Engineer Certificate.
Experience: 7 years, including 2 years as Boiler Shift Incharge.
General Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (relaxations applicable as per policy).
Foreign Degree Holders: Must submit an HEC equivalence certificate.
