The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) is an established body under Section 5 of the Islamabad Healthcare Regulations Act, 2018 (Act No. XXIII of 2018). The IHRA’s primary mission is to regulate healthcare services within Islamabad to ensure high standards of patient care and clinical practice. The IHRA invites qualified and experienced healthcare professionals to apply for honorary positions as Board Members to oversee and guide the organization’s regulatory functions.
Available Positions
- Health Professional (Nursing)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Qualification: Minimum Master’s degree registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council/Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
- Experience: At least 10 years of clinical practice experience in nursing with a recognized professional qualification.
- Health Professional (Medical)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Qualification: MBBS or RMP in Clinical Sciences or Pathology, with a major in a postgraduate degree.
- Experience: At least 10 years of clinical practice experience.
General Instructions for Applicants
- Age Limit: Maximum age for applicants is 45 years.

- Remuneration: This position is on an honorary basis.
- Term: The term of office is as prescribed under Section 7 of the IHRA Act.
