Available Positions: Police Communication Officers

The PSCA is seeking to recruit Police Communication Officers for several locations, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala, with additional positions available for the Smart Safe Cities Projects throughout Punjab.

  • Rawalpindi: 30 positions
  • Faisalabad: 30 positions
  • Gujranwala: 30 positions
  • PPIC3 Centre, Lahore: 166 positions
  • Smart Safe Cities Projects (other districts of Punjab): 263 positions

Basic Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the position of Police Communication Officer, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit:
    • Males: Up to 25 years
    • Females: Up to 28 years
  • Domicile: Punjab
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Candidates must possess 16 years of education in relevant fields, such as BCS, BBA-IT, BS Telecom, MBA-IT, MCS, MSc IT, or other IT-related qualifications.
  • Skills:
    • A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
    • Strong communication skills in both English and Urdu, including written and spoken abilities.

While prior experience in police departments, IT projects, or call centers is not mandatory, it would provide a competitive advantage.

  1. Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 is required. The fee can be deposited via bank slip at the Bank of Punjab (Account Number: PK56BPUN6580045845500064), titled Chief Operating Officer Punjab.
  2. Separate Applications: If applying for different projects or schemes, separate applications must be submitted for each.
  3. Government Employees: Those currently employed by the government must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Important Instructions

  • Candidates who are awaiting their results are not eligible to apply.
  • Upon final selection, candidates must submit HEC-verified degrees and transcripts, along with equivalence certificates for any foreign degrees.
  • The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or halt the recruitment process without prior notice.
  • Selected candidates will be subject to the PSCA Service Regulations, 2017, and the Punjab Essential (Maintenance) Services Act, 1958.
  • Candidates must be willing to serve in any PSCA office across Punjab, with final posting decisions made by the authority.
