Registration Procedures for Joining the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program

Eligibility Criteria for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program

Parent’s Eligibility:

  • Primary Education: 4 to 12 years
  • Secondary Education: 8 to 18 years
  • Higher Secondary Education: 13 to 22 years

Registration Procedure

1. Visit BISP Office:

  • Take the eligible children to the nearest Benazir Income Support office for registration.

2. Submit Documents:

  • Provide the officer with the child’s registration form and the verified mobile number of the household head.

3. Receive Enrollment Slip:

  • The officer will process the child’s registration and issue an enrollment slip.

4. Complete School Enrollment:

  • Take the enrollment slip to the child’s school. Ensure that the slip is completed with details such as the child’s class, section, class teacher’s name, and the head teacher’s information.

5. Submit Completed Slip:

  • Return the completed enrollment slip to the Benazir Income Support office. Make sure all required details are accurately filled out.

6. Verification and Scholarship:

  • Once the enrollment slip is verified, the scholarship will be granted to the eligible child.

Scholarship Amounts

  • Primary Education:
    • Girls: PKR 3,500
    • Boys: PKR 2,500
  • Secondary Education:
    • Girls: PKR 4,500
    • Boys: PKR 4,000
  • Higher Secondary Education:
    • Girls: PKR 3,000
    • Boys: PKR 2,000
  • Bonus: A bonus of PKR 3,000 is awarded to girls upon the completion of primary education.

Important Notes

  • The scholarship will continue as long as the child’s school attendance remains above 70%.
  • If the child changes schools, it is crucial to inform the Benazir Income Support Programme to ensure the continuation of the scholarship.
