Public Health Engineering & Rural Development Department

1. Assistant Engineer Civil (BPS-17)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Registration as a professional engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Important Instructions

Fee Submission: SPSC has implemented an online fee submission process. Candidates are encouraged to use this method for convenience. The original Challan of Rs. 1000/- should be paid in the Head of Account “C02101-Organ of State Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)” in State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan. Mention Challan No, Date, and Name of the Bank Branch in your online application.
Real-Time Application Review: SPSC will review all applications in real-time during the submission process via the newly developed SPSC portal. Candidates are advised to complete their profiles before applying.
Equivalent Degrees: Candidates with equivalent degrees may apply when explicitly stated in the qualifications for the advertised posts.
Challan Retention: In case of depositing the Challan manually at the National/State bank, candidates must retain the original paid Challan of Rs. 1000/- to be presented at the time of the interview.
Syllabus and Application: Prescribed syllabus and Challan form can be downloaded from the official website www.spsc.gos.pk. The online application feature is available on the official website.
Application Process: Online application requires initial registration through the SPSC official website. After fulfilling formalities, candidates can apply through the “Available Jobs” feature.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess the required age, qualification, and experience with relevant certificates on the closing date of the advertisement.
Experience Calculation: The experience shall be reckoned from the date of acquiring the minimum academic qualification required for the post.
Ineligibility: Ineligible candidates and those not fulfilling the conditions or submitting incomplete applications will not be considered.
Post Variation: The number of posts is subject to variation without prior permission/intimation.
Government Employees: Candidates serving in government and semi-government organizations must apply through the proper channel.
Error Correction: The Commission reserves the right to modify or correct any error at any stage if detected later on.
