The Utility Store Subsidy Program, identified by the code “5566,” has been reintroduced, offering discounts on 19 essential items. The program, known as the Most Ration Tradition program, is now operational nationwide, providing free and discounted food items to impoverished individuals. Registration for this program can now be conveniently completed from home by sending your ID card number to 5566.
Eligibility and Registration Process
- Eligibility Verification: If deemed eligible, you can visit your nearest utility store to avail discounts on various items. If unable to register, simply present your identity card at the nearest registered utility store to complete the registration process. Once registered, you’ll be included in the utility store subsidy program and receive discounts on ration items.
Ehsaas Rashan Program (5566 Utility Store)
The Government of Pakistan has integrated 5566 utility stores into the Ehsaas Rashan Program, specifically designed for impoverished and deserving individuals. Under this program, eligible beneficiaries, including those under the Benazir Income Support Program, receive subsidies on essential household items such as ghee, oil, sugar, flour, and pulses. Those not eligible under the Ehsaas program receive a 20% discount. Additionally, BISP beneficiaries receive a monthly ration worth 2000 rupees.

- Sending Message: Use your registered SIM card to send your CNIC number to 5566.
- Eligibility Notification: Upon sending your CNIC number, you’ll receive a message confirming your eligibility for the Rashan Program.
